Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
KairoTime is built local-first. The short version: your data never leaves your Mac, and we collect nothing.
What we collect
Nothing. KairoTime has no account system, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking, and no servers. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal data or usage data.
Where your data lives
Everything you track — time entries, projects, clients, rates, invoices — is stored in a local SQLite database file on your Mac, inside the app’s sandboxed container. You own this file. You can back it up, export your data as CSV or PDF, or delete it at any time.
iCloud sync (when it arrives)
A future Pro feature will optionally sync your data across your Macs using iCloud. If you enable it, your data will be stored in your own private iCloud account, protected by Apple’s infrastructure. KairoTime operates no servers and will never have access to your synced data.
Purchases
Pro purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details — Apple processes the transaction under its own privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Your data is yours to remove at any time: delete entries inside the app, export everything first as CSV or PDF if you want a copy, or remove the app and its container folder to erase all stored data permanently. Nothing persists anywhere else, so there is no one to ask and nothing to request.
This website
kairotime.app sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. The site is served by Cloudflare, which may process standard request logs (such as IP addresses) transiently for security and delivery, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We do not access or store that information.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Given the design of the app, do not expect much to change.
